Reveling in Romanesco

This week we have our favourite Broccoli-Cauliflower hybrid, Romanesco, on the menu!

Did you know that Romanesco has been grown in Italy since the 16th century? Its striking appearance has to do with the fact that its form is a natural approximation of a fractal (each bud in the spiral is composed of a collection of smaller buds). It has a earthy, nutty flavour; a perfect pairing for our Pork Tenderloin from Johnston's Farms!
